SSM-iCrop was substituted for SSM-Maize and SSM-Sorghum. We no longer update these two models. SSM-iCrop and SSM-iCrop2 and SSM-iCrop2N are our active versions.

SSM-Wheat P&D version

SSM-Wheat P&D version

This version of SSM-Wheat, developed by Roberto Ferrise (University of Florence, Florence, Italy) includes damage mechanisms associated with four major diseases of wheat (brown and yellow rust, septoria tritici blotch and powdery mildew). For further information refer to:

SSM-Maize & SSM-Sorghum

SSM-Maize & SSM-Sorghum

A maize and a sorgum model based on SSM-Wheat has been developed, but needs to be tested before use. Newly, SSM-iCrop-Maize model has been tested in Austria by Manschadi et al. (2020).
